Golf Activities

Members of Tucson Country Club participate in a variety of [Golf activities](https://www.tucsoncountryclub.com/amenities/golf). These include Women's Golf for 9 or 18 holes. Men's Golf, Junior Golf & PGA Junior League, Mixed Golf or Couples play and different tournaments and events for all.

The Catalina Room

[Plan your next event with Cindy West](https://www.tucsoncountryclub.com/amenities/events). Accommodating up to 60 guests, the Catalina Room has a magnificent cathedral ceiling with a spectacular view of the mountains. Outside the 20-foot arched window is a gorgeous landscaped grove complete with a rose garden and grassy, park-like area. This room is perfect for showers, luncheons, dinner parties, or small weddings . A cocktail area can be located on an accessible covered patio or inside in the adjoining room, complete with a warm, cozy fireplace.

Our History

The Tucson Country Club was established in 1947 by a small group of people who purchased a 580-acre ranch located in a remote area of Tucson to provide a unique golfing opportunity and social camaraderie on the growing northeast side.It allowed for the development of the Tucson Country Club Estates. During its more than 75-year history, the Tucson Country Club has provided its members with 18 holes of exquisite championship golf. The unique tournament history has featured 19 USGA Championship Qualifiers, 8 Arizona Amateurs, 1964 Western Amateur, 1982 USGA Senior Amateur, and the 1992 USGA Senior Women's Amateur. Tucson Country Club has not only hosted outstanding amateur events but was also home to arguably one of the world's finest amateur golfers, the late Dr. Edgar Updegraff.The total membership at Tucson Country Club exceeds 500 families and represents a broad cross-section of the Tucson population, from some of the most prominent business people to retirees. The Club strives to provide the finest private club experience through exceptional services, facilities, and amenities while achieving outstanding value for the members. The Club's vision is to be the premier and welcoming member-owned country club in Tucson, which preserves its historic place in the community. The clubhouse facility houses dining and meeting areas, a golf shop, locker rooms, a fitness center, and much more.

The Dining Experience

[Tucson Country Club](https://www.tucsoncountryclub.com/amenities/dining) offers upscale dining in a casual, southwest atmosphere.The clubhouse combines Old World architecture with historic Arizona elements to set a true home away from home for members and their guests. The Rotunda is the focal point for our informal dining, both at lunch and dinner. At the same time, the Main Dining Room provides a small, picturesque, more formal experience. Here you will find a comfortable, inviting setting where members and their guests can enjoy an unforgettable experience. We offer an abundant variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees inspired by traditional American cuisine with a southwestern flair. Occasional theme nights are featured here, along with our a la carte menus.The Skylight Lounge and Main Bar are the Club's social center and serve as the perfect place to relax, enjoy a cocktail, or meet friends any time of the year. Open Daily (Tuesday - Sunday), the Main Bar is the go-to after-work spot. The Main Lounge is an ideal location to meet a friend or colleague to talk business and catch up in the afternoon or evening.

Our [world-class outdoor pool facility](https://www.tucsoncountryclub.com/amenities/aquatics) is one of the coolest spots in Southern Arizona! Our Aquatic Center has a six-lane lap pool for lap swimming, swim meets, and water aerobics. Our family-friendly recreational pool boasts a 97 ft. water slide, a children's wading pool, and an interactive splash pad. The poolside setting wows with cabanas, lush landscaping, sun-bathing areas, wi-fi, and stunning Catalina Mountain views.-6-Lane Lap Pool with two additional lanes for Water Aerobics & Swim Lessons -Family Pool (4 ft. deep) with a 97 ft. There are 7 Championship Hard Courts, 1 Classic Red Clay (artificial) court, and 12 Pickleball courts. Whether you enjoy the sport for its health benefits, social interaction, or the love of competition, Tucson Country Club offers tennis programs that suit all levels of play. Our Tennis Professional Staff is dedicated to developing the premier Family Tennis Programs in the Southwest.
